Professor Ioannis Sorros holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Piraeus, Department of Business Administration. He is Professor at the School of Economics, Business and International Studies, Department of Business Administration, and Director of the MSc in Accounting & Control in Businesses and Public Sector at the University of Piraeus. He is Director of the Accounting & Audit Laboratory of the University of Piraeus.
Moreover, he also teaches at other Higher Educational Institutions of the country, as well as non-academic organizations, such as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the BoG of the Hellenic Accounting and Auditing Standards Oversight Board (ELTE), a member of the Examination Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the Supreme Advisory Council for Staff Selection of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue, and a Spokesman of the Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE) at the Ministry of Finance.

Nikolaos Georgopoulos is Head of the Department of Tourism, University of Piraeus, Deputy Director of the MBA programme, Professor in ‘Strategic Management and Information Systems’ at the Department of Business Administration, and Scientific Director of the Careers Office of the University.
He has served as the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Vice-Rector of Financial Planning & Development, Head of the Research Center, as well as Head of the Department of Business Administration of the same University. Panagiotis Artikis is a Professor at the University of Piraeus, Department of Business Administration. He holds a Diploma from Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Business Administration, an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham, and a PhD in Finance from the University of Bradford.
He worked as a senior executive in the investment sector for over ten years, in mutual fund management companies, and as member of the investment committee of insurance funds. Furthermore, he has been awarded the professional qualification of “Portfolio Manager” from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of Financial Management, investment portfolio management and evaluation, risk management, and valuation of securities.

Grigoris Chondrokoukis is Vice-Rector – Head of the Research Center of the University of Piraeus, Professor in Information Systems Management at the Industrial Management and Technology Department, and Director of Master’s Courses at the Industrial Management and Technology of the University of Piraeus.
He studied Business Administration at the Graduate School of Industrial Studies of Piraeus (1985), for an MSc degree in Information Technology (Computer Science) from Birkbeck College, London University (1986), and prepared his Doctoral Thesis in the Design and Development of Group Decision Support Systems for small groups, at the Technology and Production Systems Department of the University of Piraeus (1992).

Manos Koufopoulos is a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Operations Management. He has thirty years of professional experience in Greece and abroad. Christos Xenakis received his B.Sc degree in Computer Science in 1993 and his M.Sc degree in telecommunication and computer networks in 1996, both from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens, Greece. In 2004 he received his Ph.D. from the University of Athens (Department of Informatics and Telecommunications). From 1996 - 2007 he was a member of the Communication Networks Laboratory (University of Athens), while, since 2007, he has been a faculty member of the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus, where, he is currently an Associate Professor.
He is also a member of the Systems Security Laboratory of the University of Piraeus, and the director of the Postgraduate Degree Programme, on "Digital Systems Security". He has participated in more than 30 projects realized in the context of EU Programs (ACTS, ESPRIT, IST, AAL, DGHOME, Marie Curie, Horizon2020) as well as National Programs (Greek).

Andreas Theofilis is a summa cum laude International Relations Specialist (grade: 9,54/10) from the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese, while he holds a Postgraduate Degree in "Global Challenges and Analytics Systems", with specialization in MA in Risk Management from the same department, graduating with first class honours (grade: 9.08/10). He has authored a study on risk management for the marine regions that surround the EU, for the requirements of the EU Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO).
Moreover, within the requirements of PESCO, he has been involved in studies and proposals for funding relevant projects from EU funds (EDIDP, HORIZON 2020).
